Using Functions and Static Identifiers in a ValQ model

Has someone already have experience in using Range functions and/or Static Identifiers within a ValQ model?

I’m trying to understand how these functions or identifiers work. Sometimes I get an error but sometimes I do not get an error but still an empty result. If you have any experience with these functions and identifiers could you share some examples. Greatly appreciated.
