Andanced model over tabular data

In the video section there is a great tutorial about building an advanced model over crosstab data. Is there any way to build advanced model on tabular data?
Suppose you have the following data set in columns:

Month | Product | Quantity | UnitPrice

How can I link data to a leaf node in the model to get quantity and unit price?
